In rubber compounding, it functions as a primary or secondary accelerator. This chemical enables controlled cure rates in natural and synthetic rubber goods including seals, hoses, and molded components. It is also used in agricultural formulations as a fungicide and seed treatment agent. The product targets soil-borne pathogens in cereal and vegetable crops. Polymer stabilization is another application where it acts as an antioxidant additive in plastic compounds for long-term thermal stability.
