Description

Tris(2-chloroisopropyl) phosphate , identified by CAS 13674-84-5 and commonly known as TCPP, is a chlorinated organophosphate flame retardant used across rigid and flexible foam systems. It functions as both a flame retardant and plasticizer, reducing ignition risk while maintaining processability in finished materials. This chemical is the dominant flame retardant in rigid polyurethane foam. It is used extensively for building insulation panels, where it meets fire classification requirements without significantly disrupting foam cell structure. In flexible polyurethane foam, it reduces flammability. For furniture and automotive seating, it preserves mechanical performance while enhancing safety. Textile backcoatings and technical fabrics incorporate this additive to achieve fire resistance standards. These standards are required in transportation and contract furnishing markets. It is also used in unsaturated polyester resins, epoxy systems, and adhesives where halogen-based flame retardancy is specified. The product is supplied as a clear liquid in bulk quantities, IBC containers, and drums. It is available in technical grade , which is the standard commercial specification for this product. Purity levels and viscosity specifications vary by supplier, and buyers typically align procurement to regional fire safety standards. Common benchmarks include EN 13501 or FMVSS 302 for industrial use. Contact us for supply of Tris(2-chloroisopropyl) phosphate Request Quote
