Polacrilin potassium (CAS 65405-55-2 ) is a crosslinked potassium salt of methacrylic acid copolymerized with divinylbenzene. It is used in pharmaceutical manufacturing as a tablet disintegrant and ion exchange resin. Sold under the trade name Amberlite IRP88, it is a recognized excipient in solid dosage form development.
