Ethoxylated tall oil fatty acids (CAS 61791-00-2 ), also sold under the trade name Ninox AOO, are nonionic surfactants derived from tall oil through ethoxylation. They deliver emulsification, wetting, and degreasing performance across a broad range of industrial formulations. The HLB value varies with the degree of ethoxylation, allowing formulators to select grades matched to specific application requirements. In textile and leather processing, they function as fiber lubricants and softening agents. These surfactants serve as scouring components that improve substrate wettability and dye uptake uniformity. Industrial and institutional cleaners rely on them as emulsifiers and degreasing actives in hard surface and metal cleaning formulations. In agrochemical products, they act as emulsifiers and spreading agents in herbicide, fungicide, and insecticide concentrates. This improves active ingredient distribution on plant surfaces for better efficacy.
