Its primary use is as a crosslinker in one-component room-temperature vulcanizing silicone sealants. In these systems, it governs cure speed, mechanical strength, and adhesion to substrates such as glass, metal, and plastics. In construction and glazing applications, it is incorporated into neutral-cure silicone sealants for curtain wall systems. It is also utilized for window sealing and sanitary joints.
