Description

Polyethylene glycol isotridecyl ether (CAS 9043-30-5 ), also designated E1310 , is a nonionic ethoxylated alcohol surfactant derived from isotridecanol. It functions as an emulsifier, dispersant, and cleaning agent across industrial and personal care applications. The performance of this chemical is highly tunable by the ethoxylation degree. In textile processing, it acts as a scouring and wetting agent, removing oils, waxes, and sizing agents from fiber surfaces ahead of dyeing or finishing. Leather manufacturing uses it to degrease hides and improve penetration of tanning agents into the substrate. Personal care formulators incorporate it as an emulsifier and solubilizer in creams, lotions, and cleansing products. It is particularly effective where stable oil-in-water systems are required. In industrial cleaning formulations, it delivers low-foam degreasing performance suited to hard-surface and process equipment cleaning. Polyethylene glycol isotridecyl ether is supplied as a liquid or paste, depending on the ethoxylation degree. Lower EO variants tend toward liquid form, while higher EO grades are more viscous or paste-like. It is available in technical and industrial grades, with ethoxylation levels typically ranging from approximately 3 to 20 moles of ethylene oxide. Drum and IBC packaging are standard for bulk procurement. Contact us for supply of Polyethylene glycol isotridecyl ether Request Quote
