This dual-functional structure makes it a building block for associative polymers and surface-active copolymers used across personal care, cleaning, and industrial textile applications. In personal care formulations, it is copolymerized into associative thickeners that deliver rheology control in lotions, conditioners, and styling products without compromising clarity or skin feel. Home care and industrial cleaning formulators incorporate it into polymer systems that improve suspension stability and surface wetting in liquid detergents and hard-surface cleaners.
