Personal care formulators incorporate it into skin creams and cleansing products, where its medium-chain structure supports moisturizing and emulsification performance. Textile and leather processors use it as a surface modifier and wetting agent to improve fiber treatment and finishing bath penetration during the production cycle. In metalworking and lubricant formulations, it functions as a base component or additive in cutting fluids and release agents to ensure high performance.
